Meet Our Team

Aaron Morse, MD

At Sleep Health MD, which has offices in Sunnyvale, Los Gatos, Santa Cruz and Watsonville, California, Dr. Aaron Morse has helped many area residents who suffered from sleep disorders. A sleep medicine, pulmonology, and internal medicine specialist, Dr. Morse has been helping patients sleep better for more than 30 years.

After graduating from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, Dr. Morse completed a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in pulmonary disease at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Today, he is board-certified in internal medicine, pulmonary disease and sleep medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Thanks to his extensive training and experience, Dr. Morse is able to offer a number of different services. He helps patients with:

• obstructive sleep apnea treatment
• snoring treatment
• CPAP equipment
• sleep studies

Over the course of his career, Dr. Morse has treated many patients. He’s honored that many of the patients he’s seen continue to recommend him to family and friends.

Helena Norris,
FNP-BC, MSN

Helena has worked with Dr. Morse for many years. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mary Johnston College of Nursing before she attended Boston University to earn her Master of Science in Nursing Administration. Helena then attended Stanford University to earn her Nurse Practitioner Certificate. She is board-certified as a family nurse practitioner and is also a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. She has been working as a nurse practitioner for over 20 years. Helena is fluent in English and Tagalog.

Zachary Adams, MD

Dr. Zachary Adams sees patients in our Monterey and Santa Cruz County clinics. Following a family medicine residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School and an MBA program at Davenport University, Dr. Adams completed a sleep medicine fellowship at George Washington University. He is board-certified in sleep medicine and family medicine and sees patients in our Monterey and Santa Cruz County clinics. In his spare time, Dr. Adams enjoys golfing and spending time with his family.

Sirish Nakka, MD

Sirish Nakka, MD is a graduate of Ross Medical School and is board-certified in internal medicine. He recently completed his sleep medicine fellowship at UC Davis Medical Center and is board-eligible in sleep medicine. In addition to his medical training, he has an MBA from the Keller Graduate School of Management.

As a sleep medicine specialist, he will be caring for patients with all sleep disorders, including sleep apnea, insomnia, narcolepsy, restless leg syndrome and others. When Dr. Nakka isn’t helping patients sleep better, he enjoys practicing yoga, playing tennis, and hiking in the Bay Area mountains.

Jennifer Acostamadiedo, MD

Dr. Jennifer Acostamadiedo or Dr. A, like her patients like to call her, is a board – certified Sleep Medicine Physician. Her clinical interests include women’s sleep health, sleep in low socioeconomic populations, chronic insomnias, narcolepsy, parasomnias, sleep disorder breathing, restless leg syndrome. She sees both adult and pediatric patients.

Dr. Acostamadiedo completed her residency at Mercy Hospital in downtown Chicago. She spent her time helping the underserved population of South Chicago. She trained as an Internist, where she was able to excel in adult medicine, making her experience part of integrative care for her patients. Upon finishing her residency, she completed a fellowship in Sleep Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. After their fellowship, she joined the faculty for two years as an Associate Clinical professor at UCLA. She has now started a new journey at a private practice at Sleep Health MD in Santa Cruz, California.

In addition to her work, she sits on the advisory committee of Seek, the first at-home lab test that measures how alcohol impacts women’s health. Dr. Acostamadiedo is passionate about women’s health and underdiagnosed sleep disorders. She is also an advocate for Hispanic populations and gives access to care to Hispanic communities. She enjoys her latino community and the ability to be able to be part of their health. She is passionate about preventive health, and she is a great advocate for the underdiagnosed sleep disorders in women.

Cheryl Demonner, PA

Cheryl Demonner, PA-C, is a family medicine specialist in Santa Cruz, CA. She is dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate care and access to our communities. Cheryl leads our Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) sessions, a type of psychotherapy that helps people manage mental and physical health problems by changing the way they think and behave about sleep.
